It also aims to erase the misunderstandings between the Arab-Islamic world and the West. And it analyzes Arabic language as an inherited set of information in light of which the Arab-Islamic culture is formed. Hassan Ajami is a Lebanese author and freelance journalist. He received his BA from the American University of Beirut, and his MA from Columbia University in New York. He extensively studied modern and ancient philosophy.
