By Randy Persson

I am Taylor and me and my brother Drew love solving the mysteries of nature. The first mystery book we wrote was about Montana and The Mystery of Wildhorse Island, and the second mystery book was about Arizona and The Mystery of the Grand Canyon and Climate Change. We are a little older now and this book is about our trip to Minnesota to solve the mystery of the 10,000 lakes. We both wondered how there could be 10,000 lakes in one state. We are writing this book with a little help from our dad. His name is Randy. To add to the mystery of the 10,000 lakes, we found out that there are more than 10,000 lakes in Minnesota! The people of Minnesota are nice, and they don’t like to brag so we guessed that they felt 10,000 lakes was more than enough to put on their license plates. They may not like to brag but we can tell you that they do love telling stories!!

We love adventure and especially solving the mysteries of nature.
