Reading, and loving to read, is one of the most rewarding talents anyone can possess. I have written my books with young readers in mind. They are designed to stimulate the reader’s imagination while using sight words and the “First, Then, Next, Finally” principles of a story. Where did the key come from? Are the beads leading me to a treasure? What could it be? A treasure chest? What will the chest hold?
About the Author
When Renee started first grade, Renee struggled with words her classmates were reading. Her teacher, Mrs. Burke, spent extra time helping her until she was actually reading better than some of the other students. From there forward, reading became a way to explore new places, times and adventures. Renee still loves books and instilled the love of reading in her own children. After more than 40 years in corporate America, Renee took a position as a special education associate at a local elementary school. She understands reading doesn’t always come easily. Renee hopes she can help the kids she works with learn to read and that all children use books to explore new places, times and adventures.
