Nan C. Cataldi was born and raised in a small town in western Pennsylvania. After raising her two children in Richmond, Virginia, she decided to move out to the Old West. She is currently retired from the medical profession and lives in Arizona. Nan has taken several children’s writing classes over the years and written many short stories. Since she was young, she has had a talent for story-telling and a great imagination. In addition to the “Keys of Being” trilogy, she also writes picture books.

imagine. The moment Nicky becomes the Guardian of Wren, he knows he will have to fight against enemies mightier than himself, but nothing can prepare him for The Cursed One with
devastating plans and his dark sorcerers to back him up. Nicky does not have enough time to second guess anything. He has to do something, anything before everything falls apart and the world as he knows it ends. Nicky has support to fight, but does he have the courage to stand against The Cursed One? Is there any chance of winning against the evil that is slowly seeping into the roots of the earth?
This fast-paced novel is perfect for young readers and teenagers with an active imagination. They are going to love this epic conclusion to a wonderful series. The pace is adrenaline-inducing; it moves fast but not too fast to leave the reader with whiplash. The reader has plenty of time to enjoy the progress as they embark on a journey with Nicky. The descriptions are incredibly rich, they create vivid images and make the reader feel like they are right there with Nicky. You can feel the desperation he feels when he does not know what he is supposed to do. While joining the Golden Legion of Wren is the right course of action, he is still a little unsure of himself. His confusion makes him relatable and human. His growth is incredible and it is something that will impact young readers. The Golden Legions of Hope is a must-read series that even older readers will enjoy.
