Lucy T. Geringer
Lucy T. Geringer, author and proprietor of Cleocat Books developed the company to introduce concepts in an interactive book format through her character Cleo-cat-tra. As a former elementary teacher with a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia, she has become a creator and innovator of early concept books, giving children a fun start with the Cleo-cat-tra Series of First Concept Booksfor early readers. Her mission has been to publish books with a purpose and heart, and to publish high quality books that educate, entertain, and enrich the lives of young readers. With her experience, knowledge and understanding of children, she knows the necessity for great illustrations She happily found the right artist for Rhymes and Times of Cleo-cat-tra.
Savanna G. Kollock
Savanna G. Kollock is the story author of Cleo-cat-tra’s Wonderful World of Bugs. Now sixteen years old, she lives with her parents in Arizona. She is also the granddaughter of the author of the other Cleocat books, Lucy T. Geringer. Savanna has been writing ever since she can remember. She came up with the story for Cleo-cat-tra’s Wonderful World of Bugs when she was eleven years old and put it away to be discovered years later. While she loves to read and write, she is a high-performing tennis player competing in regional and national tournaments around the country.
Thomas Rodriguez
Tom Rodriguez has spent his 30-year career as an illustrator and graphic designer. He is owner of TJR Designs in Phoenix, Arizona. Tom has illustrated several books, and hundreds of book covers over the course of his career. He also specializes in logo and advertising design, and frequently creates branding materials that range from brochures to large signage. Among TJR Designs’ clients are two pet therapy organizations. Tom would like to thank Lucy Geringer for the opportunity to collaborate on Cleo-cat-ra. He, his wife Julie, and son Michael share an appreciation for cats and a love for their own kitty, Stacey Cat.
